It's amazing how much you forget from one child to the next. Forgetting when they roll over and crawl and first steps and all of that.
Well, Addy is a VERY vocal baby. Her favorite word right now is "bob." Lots of "bob bob bob bob". Especially when dOg comes near.
Today when I went to pick Hayley up for preschool Addy got excited to see me. So I took her from the daycare mom to give her a hug and I SWEAR she said, "Hi mama!" We'll just go with that, it made "mama" very happy!

Sydney's 7th Birthday Party!
We started out the party cutting out some Bratz paper dolls.
Then we played a game of polish hot potato. We turned on the High School Musical 2 CD (thanks Nana) and whenever the music stops, whoever was holding one of the 3 colors of polish had to paint either one toenail or one fingernail. The first one to have 10 toes or fingernails painted won.
Then it was time for cake.
And gifts

Hayley's first day of Preschool
Pledge Multi Surface Wipes (bzzz)
Aren't we all just looking for the perfect cleaning products? I feel like I am on a constant search for a product that will not only make cleaning easier, but more fun.
Well, I might have found that product! I received a sample of these Pledge Multi Surface wipes through bzzagent. Well, I finally got motivated enough yesterday (Labor Day- yes, I did labor through my house) to try them out.
They are almost gone! (The entire package of 25 wipes) I was finding all sorts of dust that needed these wipes to take care of it! I started in the bathroom. (Fly lady says you need a clean bathroom and a clean kitchen, so I always start in those two places) I didn't use them on my bathroom countertops as I do still feel they need some sort of disinfectant. BUT they did work GREAT on the cabinets in the bathroom. I climbed on top of the toilet and saw all sorts of dust up on top of that cabinet. Now it is gone. This stuff cut through the hairspray and dust like it was nothing.
Hayley came in and asked to join in on the fun. (Is this my child???) So I gave her one and put her to work in my bedroom on my new (ok, 1 year old) bedroom furniture. She had a ball and it really cleaned it up nice. Next came Sydney asking what all of the fun was about. I gave her one and sent her to her room to clean. Somehow her bedroom dresser always has things other than just dust on it. And this stuff cut through that too, but didn't harm the finish.
It worked great on the TV too. Seems like when I try to clean the tv with my dust rag and spray it just moves the dust around, but these really pick the dust UP.
After a whole day of cleaning fun (and just one product to carry around and just toss in the garbage) I just realized I didn't even try out the other product they sent with the wipes. (A duster with spray built in the handle.) So now I guess I"ll be looking for all of the surfaces the girls and I didn't catch the first time around.
