Super dOg

I Heart Faces has a pet faces contest going on this week. And this picture of dOg just completely shows his personality. He was running from some snow geese in the corn field near out house.

January 9- 9/365

Day 9- Snowy Day
This is the view out our back yard today. It's been snowing all day, but just a nice light snowfall. Snow without wind is not something we are use to.

January 8- 8/365

Day 8
Great-Grandma K bought "S" this hat for her birthday. She decided to strike a pose with it on before heading over to a sleepover at a friend's house.

January 7- 7/365

Day 7
I think I might have created a monster... I was editing a picture in photoshop on my computer, and "H" pulled up beside me with photoshop open on her computer. She was having so much fun playing with her pictures.

January 6- 6/365

Day 6
"H" was working on her homework and really had to think for one of her spelling words.

Day 5
I missed the PERFECT picture tonight at church. All of the kids were circled around our associate pastor who was talking to them about baptism. She had a huge bowl of water and was showing them how they could make a ripple in the water with their fingers and how they (the kids) were those ripples sharing God's love. I would have LOVED to capture that moment. So, lesson learned- my camera will be coming with me at night from now on!

BUT... until then I needed a subject for tonight. On the 365 project website I saw a hilarious picture of a Star Wars Wookie. At first I thought the picture was of a Yorkie because it reminded me so much of dOg's fluffy face. So that inspired this picture of 'og.

January 4... 4/365

Day 4

A quick snapshot of my sweetie. It's difficult to get pictures with her eyes open since they usually close tight when she smiles. She's growing up too fast!

January 3

January 3, 2011
Wow! This is NOT going to be easy, especially on these busy week days. I have already noticed that there are times I wish I had my camera with me to snap a picture for this project, like the beautiful sunrise on my way to drop Miss A off at daycare today. And by the time I get back home from work and get everyone fed and bathed, stories read, and lullabies sang, it's dark and I'm not feeling very inspired. However, this picture would look great blown up and hung in my livingroom!

January 2, 2011
I decided that a self portrait should be one of my first pictures. I didn't realize how difficult this would be to capture.

January 1

I have decided to start the 365 project this year, which means I'll be taking and posting a new picture each day.

January 1, 2011
Day 1 of the project I just needed to just snap a picture to get myself started (which has continued each day so far).

Part of the reason I want to do this project is to try to document all of the moments of our lives this year, and this captures a great moment.

These are 4 of the 6 cousins and they have SO much fun together. Each year Aunt K buys all of the kids matching jammies, so when asked to "Strike a pose" this is what we got.
