Easter

We had a great Easter weekend with Jeremy's parents. The girls were spoiled as usual.

The Easter Bunny left eggs and candy all over the house...

We've had LOTS of questions about the Easter Bunny and if he is real or not. To which I always answered, "What do you think." And they THINK he is real, but these kids at school who tell them he isn't. It was such a relief to see their sincere excitement Easter morning.

And just when I thought they couldn't eat one more piece of candy, they would sneak another one. And thankfully no one got sick.
And the fun of opening the eggs, and hiding a few of them again as soon as they got home just for the fun of the hunt.
pinataThe girls got to hit a pinata too.
Hayley ended up breaking it.
Although we loved Addy's attempt at stabbing it.
The bunny also put eggs on Grandmere and Papa's tree with QUARTERS in it. So much fun!!!

Girls just want to have fun

It never fails. Whenever we try to get one good photo of the girls, the giggling begins...

And the bunny ears come out...
And the posing begins...
And more giggling...
All for one semi good picture...

Sink Bath

Does everyone have a picture of themselves taking a bath in their grandma's sink. If only I could find that picture of me to share. I know everyone would LOVE to see that. HA

Well, Addy has been working on potty training. Unfortunately she doesn't always recognize "the feeling" until it is too late. Well, now she is at the point that she recognizes it and then realizes it needs to be cleaned up. So after hearing Mary asking for some help, I walk in to the laundry room to see Addy COVERED in "poo" (I like Barney's word much better! Thanks Amanda!) and the toilet too. She must have taken her pull-up off and tried to put the poo in the toilet but missed.

The bathtub was in use by someone else, so this had to do.

Super Surprise Fun Day

Every once in a while we plan a surprise day for the girls. My friend Libby had a great idea to spend the night at one of the hotels in Sioux Falls with a waterpark. The girls had a great time!

Just goes to show you...

So,  we always joke that the girls do not need expensive toys, just give them a box or two and some markers and they are happy.

Well, looks like we can get rid of Hayley's bed too!

We are home!

We got home on Saturday and then today got a clean bill of health from the pediatrician.

Here is her smiling face for some reassurance. (Notice the Thomas jammies. She LOVES her Thomas!!!)
