Sydney is THRILLED to be starting first grade. We went last night to her open house and her teacher, Mrs. Monfore, seems very nice. As we were ALL getting out of the car to walk her in to school she told me that we did not NEED to walk her in. She could do this on her own. I told her I wanted a picture of her on her first day. "Just ONE picture mom, please!" She is so grown up.
Mrs. Monfore greeted us this morning and we were able to sneek a picture of Sydney with her.
After the picture Sydney was off to the gym (it's raining again- so no playground today). We tried to get a hug good-bye, but she was off. Hayley ran down the hallway after her because she needed a hug. It's hard to think that Hayley will be going through all of this next year!
Sydney certainly looks ready for her first day of school! Mrs Monfore looks rested and ready too. I'll be anxious to see Hayl's first day pictures on SEptember 4. My girls are growing up too fast. Love you so much, Nana
